“Ectoplasm” Caught on Camera
A reporter by the name of Tim King who has traveled the world in his work has written a compelling article about a couple of haunted locations. The first in Oregon, the second in Afghanistan.
In the Oregon investigation Martina Baker of the Pacific Paranormal Research Society photographed an “ectoplasm”. In the comments section of the article you can see I asked:
Can you explain more on how you “used my television camera to record the image and it was proof that the photo never was taken into Photoshop or a similar program to create the ectoplasm.” ? Was the original photograph digital? Or film? Thanks in advance.
And Mr King answered:
Doug, I’m sorry I don’t have the video clip attached, that would explain it. As the owner and I were recording the strange audio with the camera pointed straight up at the ceiling, you hear the photo taken on the digital camera. My television camera never stopped rolling, and Martina walked a few feet over to my location and I was able to focus on the image, on the screen of her digital camera, within seconds of it being taken. At the time I worked for KATU Channel-2 in Portland, Oregon. The station became so excited about it that they talked me into putting the story together for the 11:00 News. I have had independent investigators examine the photo and all so far have agreed that it was an ectoplasm. Do we know this for certain? I would say not, but I would say it is as close as most people get to recording this type of activity.
This is very cool.
