“Paranormal State” Makes Believers out of Network Executives
The Hollywood Reporter has an article about “Paranormal State” production where the network executives and show producers experienced paranormal activity during filming.
“I was a skeptic’s skeptic,” says Robert Sharenow, head of nonfiction and alternative programming at A&E. “I didn’t buy into this stuff at all. But I gotta say, after what I’ve seen on the show, I totally re-evaluated my feelings (about the paranormal).”
“Almost everybody on the production team experienced something — from being pushed or feeling cold to other really weird things that happened,” says Gary Auerbach of Go Go Luckey Prods. (MTV’s “Laguna Beach”), which produces the show with Four Seasons Prods. Intl.
Maybe this is more promotion for the show but I am reminded of a quote by Jason Hawes “All a skeptic is is someone who hasn’t had an experience yet”.
Another tidbit from the article is that 20 half hour episodes were produced. That should run for 10 weeks if they don’t take any breaks. It will overlap with “Ghost Hunters International” so we will have both shows to watch in those cold winter months of January and February. Then hopefully not too many weeks before these runs end and a new season of “Ghost Hunters” will start.
