“Paranormal State” Video of the Demon
Well we here at Spectral Review just can’t have too much fun extracting frames from the new series “Paranormal State” on AETV.
The show decided to give us a wee small glimpse of that nasty demon in tonight’s episode “The Devil in Syracuse”. At a point early in the show the group led by Ryan Buell left the home of the people being annoyed by the demon. They were talking outside near a street lamp when someone screamed. The next scene they are running to see what is going on.
In between is a shorter than one second set of frames that look like a shadow of some entity. The last frame shows the entity carrying a noose looking a lot like the noose in the episode from the first week.
You can see a short video for yourself. It is in “super slo-mo”. In other words the 10 or so frames display for a second each making for a 10 second video. This is not “real”, it’s just something they put into the show.
Funny after looking at these frames I have a huge urge to get some popcorn and a coke.

Hi… can’t seem to get the video to load. Codec issue or something… Thanks for taking the time to edit it and put it up for us all… Hopefully I’ll be able to figure it out! (PS - Sorry for posting this twice. didn’t see where to delete my comments on the other… sorry…)

Hi Matt,
I added a second link to an mpg file. It’s a bigger download but seems to work under windows. The original file was “motion jpeg” which I assumed would just work.

In a few weeks we will be adding a new article series called “People in Paranormal Research”. It will be a way for us to “meet” people who do paranormal work. To me as a group they are pretty amazing. It’s a LOT of work and 99% of them do it for free.
