Paranormal State “Paranormal Intervention” Report Card
We here at Spectral Review are not paranormal investigators, demonologists, or drama critics. We don’t even play any of those on TV! But we do watch most paranormal shows and can tell the good ones from the bad.
Paranormal State episode report card.
“Paranormal Intervention”
Lorraine Warren and the team try to help a woman stop her obsession with taping voices of the dead every night.

Paranormal State questions if a person can get too involved in searching for paranormal evidence. |
Client Credibility
The client was a retired woman by the name of Carol-Anne from Queens, NY. Right away we thought of the character of the young girl in the Poltergeist movies. Of course that had nothing to do with anything it was just odd. Carol-Anne is convinced that her house is haunted by a woman named Mary who committed suicide in the home. The client seemed credible. Five out of five ghosts.

Investigation
It appears that Carol-Anne is a wantabee investigator as she has captured many many tapes of EVPs. This is the basis for her feeling that her home is haunted by Mary. Ryan Buell brings in an EVP specialist by the name Ron Milione. We have seen Ron before as he has been on Ghost Hunters in the past. Dr Milione is well respected in the paranormal investigation community. He believes that the EVPs are authentic.
The team calls in Lorraine Warren to convince Carol-Anne that the EVP collection has gotten out of hand. She is spending too much time and is obsessed with the EVP collecting.
So the investigation turns away from trying to find evidence, to trying to get the client to stop collecting evidence. Many many paranormal investigators are just as concerned with helping their clients as they are interested in finding evidence of the paranormal. Ryan Buell and his team prove that in this investigation as they saw the solution to the haunting to convincing the client to stop looking. She was just bringing her problems upon herself.
Really a nice investigation by the team. Five out of five ghosts.

Evidence
The only evidence showed to us were some EVPs that the client collected. Ron Milione verified that they were genuine as to us they seemed compelling also.

Conclusion
A good episode from Paranormal State. We liked the fact that they were concerned with helping the client instead of a huge need to find evidence. This series is really finding their stride.
