Derek Acorah of TV shows Most Haunted and Derek Acorah’s Ghost Towns is going to participate in two fundraisers in April organized by The Anthony Nolan Trust.

The Southern Reporter has the details:

On Thursday, April 24, Derek will be holding an audience with Border fans which, say organisers, promises to be a hugely entertaining display of his psychic ability.

And on Friday, only 50 places are available for a night at what was recently described by a team of paranormal investigators as one of the scariest places in Britain. The first half of the night will be spent in the grim surroundings of Mary Queen of Scots’ House which was occupied by the fateful Scottish monarch in 1566 and today houses her death mask.

For more information contact the trust on 01506 655361.

The Borders Paranormal Group will also be participating.

Is you go to either of these events we would love to hear what it was like. This is the forth fundraiser was have heard happening in the UK just in the last few months. It’s great to see paranormal groups and fans stepping up to use their interest in the paranormal to raise money for worthy causes.

It makes us wonder if American and Canadian groups and organizations do the same thing. We haven’t heard of any but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened. Let us know in the comments if you have heard of any that have happened or are to happen in the future.

Thanks.
