The Great Falls Tribune Online has an article telling us that the local Cascade County Jail was investigated by the Montana Association of Paranormal Studies (M.A.P.S.).

“They asked to come into the jail and set up cameras,” said Commissioner Lance Olson Sunday.

During a pair of visits in January and February, the group brought some of its equipment into the 1909 jail, and then brought in a more extensive video surveillance system, recalled Brad Clark, the county’s building maintenance supervisor.

After the first visit, Clark said, “they indicated they thought they heard something.”

There’s no word yet if, or how many, ghosts or strange occurrences were found in the building’s dingy interior.

M.A.P.S. appears to be a fairly new group of investigators. They have a download page where you can listen to their EVPs they have captured. We are looking forward to seeing or hearing any evidence gathered at the Cascade County Jail.

  1. Hi I am the founder of MAPS and we lost your email address. We would love to send you what we found at the Cascade County Jail.
We have investigated a few other places in and around Great Falls also and are in the process of making a documentory about the Lobby Bar.
