N.U.P.S. Posts Report of Motel Investigation
Northern Utah Paranormal Society (N.U.P.S.) has posted their report from a recent investigation of a motel.
From their report:
Activity Reported: A full body apparition was reported in one of the rooms by a guest. Employees reported feeling uncomfortable in certain areas in and around the motel.
Also, while investigating one of the old motel rooms we all heard what sounded like someone walking around in a room that was locked. We knew that there was no one in there due to the fact that there was an undisturbed snow drift that was approximately 3-4’ high in front of the door. We later learned that an employee uses that room to store personal belongings.
Make sure you listen to the EVP they captured. They say it sounds like “Popeye” to them. There were just females in the room at the time. To us it almost sounded like a synthesized voice. What do you think?

I can see where they say it sounds like Popeye speaking. I agree with Spectral Review that it sounds very robotic. I am making out the words “Everybody away”. Did you attempt to enhance this EVP at all? I know that when you try to bring out faint sounds and whispers at different frequencies (or slow them down), you can get this robotic/synthesized effect. This alteration could literally change the the diction and cadence of what is being said making it sound like something else. I would love to hear the original if that wasn’t it. If that was the original, the place may be haunted by R2D2.
