Ghost Hunters “Ghostly Conversation” Report Card

Ghost Hunters episode report card.
“Ghostly Conversation”
Even entities need a place to unwind. The team looks into hauntings at the Ruff Stone Tavern and Mount Washington Resort.
|
The Ghost Hunters go to Kris Williams’ home state to investigate the Mount Washington Hotel. Who will they be talking to? |
Case : Mount Washington Hotel
Client Credibility
The team is shown the property by Fred Hollis who heads security at the hotel. He tells us about some of the history of the property including Carolyn Stickney who was the wife of the man who built the hotel. She died in the 1930s and was known as the “Princess”. Her room was 314 and still contains her bed.
The claims of paranormal include seeing an apparition in the Princess’ room. Another claim is an apparition was seen in the South Tower. In this area is where employees had their living quarters. They show us the “wall of names” where employees have written their names since 1912. Footsteps have been heard from this floor while the area is locked.

Investigation
Jason and Grant head to the “wall of names” area of the South Tower. Here is where employees have written their names. Jason and Grant sign their names. Shouldn’t they at least wash some dishes or make a bed? While there they debunk the footsteps and conclude it’s likely not paranormal.
Steve and Tango head to the South Tower. They hear some noises but can’t debunk anything. They do some EVP work.
Grant and Jason go to room 314 which is the Princess’ room. They do some EVP work. They hear a bang and debunk it as a heat pipe turning on.
Kris and Tango go to the ballroom. They try to get some knocks and EVPs. Kris’ stomach is quiet.
Jason and Grant go back to the South Tower. Some glass goes flying. They can’t debunk it but really what else could it be other than something that fell? They do hear some footsteps.

Evidence
There are two pieces of evidence.
The first was the footsteps that they thought they heard were caught on audio. So that seemed to back up their experience.
They catch some great EVPs in room 314. Both when Tango and Steve were in there and again when Jason and Grant go in. Very clear and impressive. It seems like the Princess was talking to them interactively. Very nice.

Case : Ruffstone Tavern
Client Credibility
Where are shown the property by Heather Feeley who is a bartender. Some of the claims of paranormal are an apparition with a top hat which then turned to smoke. Then there was a smell of a woman near the bar. Grant asks if the odor was floral in nature and Heather tells us it was musky.
Glass bowls fell off a shelf as employees were talking about the visit from the Ghost Hunters in a few days. The kitchen doors would often swing by themselves. The basement has people having a creepy feeling. HELLO….fear cage maybe?

Investigation
This investigation is about debunking. And they do that. They first try to debunk the smell at the bar that was described as musky. They find some chemicals underneath the bar at that location. So Grant takes some of the containers, opens them and puts them on top of the bar.
Jason: “It’s smells minty.”
Grant: “That kind of smells musty. Yeah thats what she said, it smells musty.”
Then they open an old drawer and whew.
Grant: “Yeah opening that drawer made it smell musty that fits her description of mustiness.
Oh well, it’s just one letter off!
They debunk the swinging doors well because the main door opening makes the kitchen doors move. The shelf that had the glass bowls wasn’t very level.
Tango and Kris go to the basement. No vomiting for Kris this time. But should she be? It’s also a fear cage because the EMF readings are huge!
Steve defines Speakeasy. A fun scene with Tango as Steve tells us about prohibition and the importance of tight lips.

Evidence
No evidence because they debunked it all!

Conclusion
Another entertaining episode. Some terrific EVPs in room 314 at the Mount Washington Hotel. That room will be booked for the foreseeable future.
No Kris stomach noises this week.
