The Times Record News has published a nice article on Texoma Regional Organization Of Paranormal Studies (T.R.O.O.P.S.).

The group is just a few months old, no doubt inspired by the Ghost Hunters. Hopefully they will take the time to read Orbs or Dust? A Practical Guide to False-Positive Evidence by Kenny Biddle as every paranormal investigator should do.

The article includes the following interesting personal experience:

“I was home alone in my room with my dog, a big Rottweiler,” she said. “All of a sudden, he starts scratching at the door.”

She opened the door and he bolted out, but then came back just as quickly and hid under the bed.

Something had obviously scared him, she said.

Latishia walked out into the kitchen and saw an unusual shadow hanging out in the corner of the room.

“It stood there for a while and then this thing walked right by the windows,” Corwin said.

Light from the outside didn’t pass through the image.

The “ghost” then walked through the wall into her room.

“The dog ran out from under the bed and went and hid, and I went and hid with him,” she said.

I’m sure this ghost hunter wouldn’t have hid under the bed.
