Gene Lafferty who is the founder of Buckeye State Paranormal & Haunting Investigators (BSPHI) recently wrote an article for the Hardin County Historical Museum newsletter. The article talks about how one might tell if they have had a brush with the paranormal. It then continues on telling us their research into the museum and how they investigated the property.

They also include an investigation report on their web site with lots of details and their captured evidence.

From their investigation report are these personal experiences:

  • Several large temperature drops of 8 to 9 degrees with in two to three minutes
  • Shadow passed in front of door
  • 5 people in different groups reported the smell of good cigars in different locations
  • Hair raising, tingles on arms and legs when asking EVP questions
  • Had visual in my head of a small blonde haired boy named John
  • Heard music playing
  • Investigator thought they saw something run past her arm in the direction of the buggy

Please read the report as they include some interesting EVPs. I like how they don’t tell you what they think the EVP says but display a drop down box so you can see what they think it says after listening to it yourself. Really nice idea.

Plus they include some false-positive photos which shows that BSPHI doesn’t need Kenny Biddle’s Orbs or Dust? A Practical Guide to False-Positive Evidence
