We got the chance to listen to one of the new shows on Para-X Radio called Spooks R Us and found the show to be entertaining and informative. The show is on Monday Nights at 10PM Eastern.

The show is hosted by Scotty Rorek and Wayne Hackler who are from the Madison Researchers Into the Paranormal (MRIP).

The show is definitely different than most paranormal radios shows as they are going to do a couple of segments which include:

• Para-speak, teaching paranormal words
• Man on the street, paranormal experiences
• Wacky news
• Finish with some fun jokes

In the first episode they tried some improv comedy for the listeners and people in the chat room. It’s called the “Hundred Eighty Five’s” and we get to supply the punch-line.

“A hundred and eight-five Orbs walk into a bar, the bartender says ‘Hey we don’t serve Orbs here’.” And a hundred and eight-five Orbs reply….

So to play along our punchline is “We are not Orbs, we are dust! Give us a hundred and eighty-five bottles of that liquid with the golden bubbles!”

Their first show had Dr Tim Harte who talked about the MESA project which is using a computer to collect environmental data collected by sensors attached to the computer. Kind of a technical subject but if you are geeky like us it is very interesting.

The second show had Patrick Burns from Haunting Evidence. Also Tommy from KAPS Paranormal Radio and Lisa J Smith from PRISM.
