Ghost Hunters International “Devil Dog” Report Card
We here at Spectral Review are not paranormal investigators, demonologists, or drama critics. We don’t even play any of those on TV! But we do watch most paranormal shows and can tell the good ones from the bad.
Ghost Hunters International episode report card.

Ghost Hunters International finishes their stay in New Zealand and then head to England. |
The Fitzgerald quote of the episode:
“You have a rubber eye?”
– Barry Fitzgerald
Case: The Opera House
Client Credibility
Pat Shields the manager of The Opera House shows the team around. Shockingly subtitles are not needed even though he speaks English.
He explains the building was built in 1913 and seats around 1500. Paranormal activity include seeing apparitions. A dog has been heard. We are told of the architect of the building committed suicide in the building. For the first six months after the opening three bad accidents happened in the same location in the balcony. Robb quips to Andy that “you know where you are going…”
Is Robb hoping for a fourth accident?

Investigation
Nothing found in the accident area. Brian and Dustin go to the catwalks and do an EVP session. Brian started provoking. He took a picture and seems to have gotten a “black mass”.
Barry gets his full spectrum camera out. In the mean time Donna and Robb do an EVP session. Donna thinks she sees something and has Barry point his camera in that direction.

Evidence
They decide Brian’s “black mass” is either a camera fault or his hand in the way. The camera was very small and his paws are pretty big.
For the first time that we can remember they got an EVP on more than one device. A woman’s voice saying “no”. So congrats that the team used both devices to rule in or rule out a possible EVP. Rule in for this case of course.

Case: Woodchester Mansion
Donna has to go home since she is feeling sick. She has had Crohn’s disease since being a young teen and it appears bad symptoms have returned. We hope she is feeling better very soon.
Dustin takes over the “research” department duties from Donna.
Client Credibility
Chris Howley is the property manager and shows the team around. Again no English subtitles!
The claims of paranormal activity are the sounds of babies crying. A female voice is heard in the kitchen area and an apparition has been seen there along with a female voice. An apparition has been seen in the chapel. A little girl has been seen running up the stairs.
That’s a lot of sightings of apparitions.
Finally on the third floor people have seen a blue light. Perhaps a special sale at K-Mart?

Investigation
Nothing on the thermal. Robb explains that a little boy has been seen running on the steps. Actually a little girl but close enough.
Barry brings out his full spectrum camera again. Brian joins him for an EVP session. Brian sees a blue streak. And later Andy sees it on the third floor. So perhaps a personal experience confirmed of the blue light.
Robb gets some EMF “chatter” but can’t tie it to a conversation and concludes could be just a coincidence.

Evidence
They appear to capture a dog growl when Robb was in the basement having his EMF reactions. They also capture something like a whistle.
They also capture a blue light on camera which seems to backup their personal experience. By itself not big but together they may have something.

Conclusion
Another entertaining and interesting show from the GHI team. We hope Donna is feeling better so she can rejoin the show before these batch of shows are done. Perhaps Shannon will be filling in.
The GHI team seems to show evidence that seems very credible. We don’t find ourselves questioning it very much and if we do they seem to do also. Nice team, nice show.
