Paranormal State with Ryan Buell and his team from the Paranormal Research Society of Penn State returns with new episodes on Monday July 28, 2008.

They will be showing them in their same format as before, two episodes on Monday nights at 10 and 10:30 PM Eastern. And then repeated a few hours later.

It certainly looks like we are in for some very interesting views into the paranormal and they will delve into some subjects we usually don’t see.

Here is what is happening for the first four shows:

Good vs. Evil

Ryan’s investigation of paranormal activity in a home in western Pennsylvania turns up a connection to New Orleans.

Family Ties

Ryan and the PRS investigate the apparition of an old woman who haunts a family in Petersburg, Va.

Shadows and Smoke

A woman in Parkville, Md., calls on the services of agents when her roommate claims to have been attacked by a poltergeist.

Lady Vampire

The appearance of a hag they call “Lady Vampire” torments a single woman and her 5-year-old daughter; Ryan uses a controversial new device in his investigation.

Of course the Good vs Evil reminds us of the first season episode about the demon. Perhaps an episode not demonic but we will have to wait and see.

The fourth episode Lady Vampire is intriguing. The notion of a “hag” is something that appears to have been experienced by many people. There was an episode of Ghostly Encounters involving a hag that stirred a lot of interest. It will be interesting to see how Ryan and the team handle this case.
