We here at Spectral Review have always seen ourselves as a middleman of sorts – pointing the casual person interested in the paranormal to the real people who are doing serious thinking in the paranormal field. Most of these casual people have been exposed to the paranormal field via popular TV shows like Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State and the numerous ghost themed TV shows on many cable channels. Even though it sometimes is not obvious to the viewer, the main goal of these shows is to entertain..

Not that being entertained is a bad thing, but if people are interested in the paranormal they would benefit from the thinking of folks whose main goal is not to entertain, but to search for knowledge.
