The Post: What was the first memory you have of dealing with the paranormal?
Lorraine Warren: Well my husband actually grew up in a home that was haunted and it was in that home, for some reason, nothing was solved. … I believe that his searching was to see if other families experienced what he experienced at a young age, up until the age of 12 when they finally left that house.
Now myself, I had never been in a haunted house in my life, but I attended a private Catholic girls’ school (in Connecticut). I began to notice in our class that I was seeing lights around the heads of people — some of the nuns, the girls in class — and I made the mistake of telling one of the nuns that her lights were brighter than Mother Superior’s. … That was a big mistake. What I was really looking at was the aura around people — that is what I was seeing. … My first experience that was so profound was when I was in a home in Henniker, N.H., called the “Ocean Born Mary House.” In that house, I had an out-of-body experience where I could look down and see my husband sitting there and see the man that he was interviewing and see the couple that was with us but I was way above them. And I could see my own body …
We got the chance to talk to Brad Klinge, who along with his brother Barry Klinge founded Everyday Paranormal. We wanted to know what Everyday Paranormal has been doing since we last talked to them and try to find out any future plans they have cooking.
We know you have been involved in the paranormal field for many many years, but Everyday Paranormal is just about one year old. Any thoughts at this point of how the first year has gone?
Wow. I could not ask for our first year to have gone any better. We have made a positive mark in the paranormal community. I am already on a first name/open conversation basis with many well-known people in the paranormal field. Our clients love us, and the community has really supported us. The media has really jumped all over us, and we have already been the subject of several newscasts and newspaper articles this year. Our original YouTube videos have received great reviews and gained us worldwide attention. From Paris, Texas to Paris, France (literally), we have been contacted from folks all around the world. Paranormal groups in the UK have even invited us to come over on joint investigations. You can see from the references page on our website that we are respected by a vast array of people from homeowners to University officials. We also have a great relationship with the Myrtles Plantation, and that is something I am very proud of. I have to credit our hard work and extreme dedication to this success–not to mention that we are normal, unassuming, fun people who take the field seriously in a laid-back, unserious way. We have even been the targets of a few other paranormal groups out there who want to take unwarranted shots at us. I love it. If we weren’t that good, then no one would care either way, right? It is nice to Google your name and have the first 50 pages return everything you have done in the field in one year’s time. And the great thing is that there is no where to go from here but up.
All I can say right now is stay tuned to us because things are evolving every day. Seriously evolving…..
P.O.R.T.A.L. Paranormal Talk Radio will be interviewing Derek Acorah of Most Haunted fame on Sunday June 29, 2008. It will air at 7PM Eastern.
We haven’t seen too much of Derek the last few years. Other than Most Haunted repeats as his own show Ghost Towns wasn’t on here in the states for too long. We have to admit we like David Wells better.
New Hampshire’s Sentinel Source has written an article about David Manch. Mr. Manch is a member of New England Paranormal. That particular group was founded by Steve Gonsalves of Ghost Hunters. It’s good to see that Steve wasn’t afraid of starting a group.
Manch’s interest in ghosts was first kindled as a child through a family friend’s stories of the eerie happenings at her Fitzwilliam antique shop.
However, when he and fellow investigators eye claims of paranormal activity, he said, “We’re not going in to look for proof of a haunting. We’re going in to try to disprove it.”
“There are spirits everywhere. They are all around you all the time,” he said. “Whether they choose to communicate with you or whether they’re able to communicate with you is a different story.”
The Soulseekers will be doing some interviews this week that are available for your listening enjoyment. No doubt they will be talking about their recently released DVD and their upcoming investigations including Pevensey Courthouse in the 1066 country of England.
The Soulseekers are the team of SarahJane O’Neill, Gil Martin and Woody Wood. All are Ghost Hunters but in addition SarahJane is an amazing sensitive while Gil is their lead technician and Woody does data analysis.
In a few hours they will be live on FoxFM in Oxford between 7AM-8AM London (GMT) (2AM-3AM Eastern). It is also streamed live by FoxFM.
On Friday June 13, 2008 they will be on the Humberside Paranormal talk show at 10PM-12PM London (GMT). For us on this side of the pond it’s 5PM-7PM Eastern.
Then the Soulseekers will be on Haunted Voices Radio on the same night at 9PM Eastern (8PM Central).
Maybe one of the great shows on Para-X Radio will book them.
You can listen live and have your choice of Winamp, iTunes, or Windows Media.
They will open the phone lines during the show and if you would like to call in during the live show to ask a question you can do so at (765) 997-1616. You can also chat live with them during the show in in their chat room.
The article tells us of Brad’s incredible personal experience at Gettysburg:
“We were coming out of the center of town one sunny day. I looked out the back car window and saw this regiment of Union soldiers marching in field. You could see their blue uniforms. I grabbed the camera, got out of the car and took off through this wheat field,” Brad Klinge explained.
“It looked like a historical re-enactment. They didn’t look too far from me, but I couldn’t catch up. Then they suddenly disappeared. Those soldiers show up on the videotape.”

Recently Brad Klinge of Everyday Paranormal was interviewed by K-RACK which is an internal radio network for Rackspace, an IT Hosting company headquartered in San Antonio.
Also Steve Harris who is the tech lead of Everyday Paranormal participated in the interview. Brad and Steve talk about their investigations they have conducted, evidence they have collected, and their theories about the paranormal.
