The Oklahoma Society for Paranormal Investigations (OSPI) have recently investigated the Constantine Theatre in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.
The Pawhuska Journal Capital has posted an article about the investigation.
“We did hear some audio in the background, but until we further analyze our data we won’t know what it is — sometimes old buildings just normally make noises,” said Koneman. “Just after our preliminary look, we did pick up some interesting anomalies, but we have to look at our data in much more detail than what we have at this time.”

Looks like a nice theatre.

The Bristol Town Hall located in Bristol, NY near Rochester is being investigated by the New York Paranormal Investigators Group. The town historian is recommending that the building is investigated to disprove anything paranormal is going on. Which is quite the opposite of how these things go.
MPNNow.com has the story about the investigation:
“There are three sheriffs that won’t come in the building alone,” Fox said. “They’ve either seen things or heard things or something.”
Deputy Paul Hagen, who has spent a lot of time working the west side of Ontario County during his 16 years on the job, confirmed that several of his colleagues have heard strange noises in the building.
“One deputy was in there at night using the bathroom,” he said. “I don’t know what he heard, but he went running out of there quick. It kind of spooked him.”
They sure make these officiers out to be sissies don’t they? But then again I guess a loaded gun doesn’t work too well in the paranormal field.
Another note: The New York Paranormal Investigators Group which was founded by Jay Powell and Jen Klimeczko do not appear to have a web presence.

The B&B at Whitefish Point, Michigan that is a recently remodeled Coast Guard crew station is exhibiting interesting paranormal activity. There is a museum nearby that hold artifacts of shipwrecks, one of which is the Edmund Fitzgerald which was sung about by Gordon Lightfoot.
MLive.com has an article about the buildings at Whitefish Point:
“I felt someone stroking my back!” Jody says.
Most unusually, her husband tells me he glanced toward his bathroom door to see an image of a man in an old blue uniform, “like I could see it in one eye but not the other.”
…
“We were reading off names of those who died on the Fitzgerald, and once we got to name of the second cook, our EMS detector, which detects electromagnetic fields and fluctuations, started spiking really severely,” she said. “That’s when things started getting really interesting. Some people reported having their hair tugged, their faces being touched and arms being grabbed, but in an affectionate way. ”
The artifacts from the Edmund Fitzgerald reminds us of the Castroville Hearse, where physical objects themselves can be haunted.
The location has been investigated by the Upper Peninsula Paranormal Research Society (U.P.P.R.S.) and you can read their report from last year.

The Paranormal Scene Investigators (P.S.I.) recently investigated a home in North Carolina. The Salisbury Post has written an article about the investigation and history of the home:
Three [ghosts] have made their presence known enough times to earn names: Princess, Sweaty Boy and Mr. Atwell, the name of the man who built the house.
Princess is described by the Etters children — 20-year-old KatiEarl, 16-year-old Casiann and 14-year-old Chase — and a family friend as being a little girl with no eyes and long ringlets who is always wearing a long white Victorian gown and white satin slippers.
Sweaty Boy, according to several eyewitness accounts, has eyes, but his neck and head appear to be wet. He’s usually seen wearing overalls and a red shirt.
Mr. Atwell, a man of small stature, has brown hair and is wearing dress pants, a shirt and a vest.
Nicely written article. P.S.I. has an EVP page if you are interested in listening to some of their evidence, even though the EVPs from this investigation don’t appear to be posted quite yet.

Paranormal Activity Research Team (PART) of Lancashire in the UK recently investigated the Royal Court Theatre in Bacup, UK.
The theatre has reported been the home of a ghost by the name of Norah. The Thaindian News has an article about the investigation:
The research team made the revelation after snapping a picture, which could be “the clearest and most conclusive proof” of the existence of ‘Norah’.
PART were called in to investigate spooky goings on at the theatre, originally an iron foundry but turned into an entertainment venue in 1892.
Referring to their resident ghost, the theatre’s website says: “On numerous occasions cast members, staff, stage crew and visitors have reported seeing Norah and also experiencing various strange unexplainable happenings (none of which have been harmful).”
You can read their report on their website and see the picture in question.

Three Utah area paranormal groups got together to investigate the John Hutchings Museum of Natural History in Lehi, Utah. It was investigated by the teams just two nights ago. The Daily Herald is reporting the museum is haunted but seems to us is jumping the gun a bit.
One of the investigators was grabbed on the leg by a ghost, she said.
“They were trying to debunk [the sound of extra footsteps] when it happened,” she said. “It happened right down in the basement.”
In addition, “a shadow might have been caught on video, but we are still looking to see if it was a [camera] flash or something,” she said. “They did get some voices caught on tape. It sounded like a man just kind of chattering, but they couldn’t make it out clear enough to hear what they were saying. They are going to try and amplify it on the computer.”
It sounds like there were some personal experiences but obviously there hasn’t been time to look at any collected evidence. Most likely the city run facility wants it to be haunted so they can raise funds from ghost tours and the like. We are all for this kind of thing but it would be nice to actually have some evidence of paranormal activity before doing so!
The groups involved in the investigation were key2rip.com, Wasatch Paranormal Investigators and Paranormal Utah.
Interestingly the investigation was live on Internet radio. And apparently they do these each Wednesday night. See Residual Hauntings of you are interested in listening.

The Ohio Paranormal Seekers (TOPS) is the first group to have investigated the Secrest Auditorium in Zanesville, Ohio. We are quite certain that the auditorium was not named in honor of Ryan.
The Zanesville TimesRecorder.com has an article about the investigation:
St. John said that TOPS encountered a lot of activity throughout the evening of the 17th, including voices, moving objects, apparitions and sensations of being touched.
“I think it definitely has paranormal activity in it. There is definitely something there,” he said, adding that he didn’t feel uncomfortable during the investigation, and the spirits seem to be friendly.
Tom Boyd, Tech Manager for TOPS, said the team had advanced equipment used for detecting this kind of phenomenon. They used a four-camera DVR system with night vision, hand-held mini cameras, digital cameras, as well as a digital audio recorder. A K2 meter was used to sense spirit activity, and an EMF meter (electro magnetic fields) was used to check changes in such fields, which is often an indicator of the presence of spirits.
“Definitely got something going on there. It turned out to be a cool night,” Boyd said. He demonstrated how the voices showed up on the digital audio recorder. Male and female voices could be heard. One voice said ‘yes,’ while others were singing and calling out TOPS members’ names.
TOPS has an EVP and Photo page if you are interested.

On an episode earlier this year, the Ghost Hunters investigated Fort Mifflin located near Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On that episode the investigators had to spend time in the underground casement that William H Howe was held as a prisoner. We as viewers were shown the difficult time that the Ghost Hunters investigators had going underground in the casement. In spots it was a tight. It was dark. It was creepy. Even Jason Hawes complained he was a little claustrophobic. Jason to his credit did go back into the casement and fought his fears. But Kris Williams and Dave Tango just couldn’t stay down there more than a few minutes. Remember that Billy Howe was held there as a prisoner for months.
Don’t get us wrong, it was not an easy task. See the Fort Mifflin Photo Gallery to get an idea on what it was like.
We mention this Ghost Hunters episode because it puts this next story of these paranormal investigators in perspective. An investigative task much more difficult than the casements at Fort Mifflin.

The Billy Bishop Heritage Museum located in Owen Sound Ontario Canada is allowing a Barrie Ontario based paranormal group to investigate the property. The group is Jeff’s Paranormal Investigations.
Billy Bishop was a World War I flying ace and Commander of the first Canadian Air Force, and the most decorated Canadian in World War I.
The Sun-Times has an article that includes some of the claims of paranormal activity:
“He came out and he was in a little bit of shock. I asked what was wrong and he said ‘when I walked in there, out of the corner of my eye I saw a little lady,’” she said. “When he turned his head to look at her she disappeared.”
In a separate incident, a visitor returned to the museum to ask if there had been a little girl in a costume there earlier.
“He explained that he was in the dining room of the museum and he looked and she was standing there near a mannequin that’s in a maid’s costume, and looked up at him and smiled at him,” Smith said.
The man didn’t think about it at the time, but asked his wife if she liked the little girl in the dress. His wife’s reply was “what girl,” Smith said, so the man came back and asked staff about it. They checked and found none of them had a girl at the museum that day.
