@ Resume

I know it's a while ago since you last posted your questions, but for some reason I feel the need to answer them. I could present you with tons of what I believe it evidence of the paranormal, but I don't think you will believe it. It is impossible to fully convince someone that entities, poltergeists and orbs excists. Unless someone has witnessed/expierenced something that is completely not be explained, one can believe in the paranormal. You've heard noises you said, which could lead up to the paranormal. 'Thing's that go bump in the night'; I agree, that could just be caused by some disturbement. The object being placed in such an angle it could fall anytime, a draft from an open window, a mouse in the house. I have alot of noises in my room, but my stove was making all those noises. However, I once put an evp recorder in my room, and when listening to it the following morning I very clearly heard a voice saying quiet. I let my dad listen to it (a 'non-believer') and he said he could clearly recognize his fathers voice in it (who passed away when I was not yet born). My door opened all of the sudden. I tried to find a logical explanation for it, but there just wasn't one. The windows where locked, so the wind couldn't have opened it. The door was tightly closed, so it couldn't have swinged open due to the fact I had not closed it properly. It was in the summer, on a very, very hot day I was in my room checking my mail and I feel a very cold chill passing right by my. My windows and door where closed, so it wasn't the wind. All these things have led me to believe that my room is haunted. Feelings of being watched, chills, voices etc. However, even when telling you this and I don't believe I am able to convince you that spirits do excist. And that is not my intent. It's like believing in God. You do or you just don't :)

My wife Sandy, has been doing research on the Pond Family for over twenty odd years. The A & E crew and the PRS Group all knew about Edward and his brother Franklin even before coming to her parents home. The research you see Elifie looking up is actually one of my wife's many notebooks of information she has on this family. Yes, the death certificate you see on Edward Pond was one my wife had gotten from The Shrewsbury Town Clerk in the 1990's. I think whoever tried to make it look like Elifie looked it up. Why I don't know. Sandy has two very large tubs of stuff to which the PRS people were surprised to see. She has researched this family so much. The Psychics were spot on with many things I was told by my wife, that were not seen. Plus, they contacted Franklin Pond not Edward much to the delight of Sandy, who just wasn't sure if he was there. There's much more to this story. The PRS group and the crew that came to her parents house were all very nice and helpful to them.To me, the show was edited so badly. There was a nice story line here, but I guess it's on the cutting room floor .

I'm not a Long basher either as a matter of fact the first time I heard him was on a archive of Stirring the Cauldren and he was impressive. Then I googled his
name and what I found wasn't what I expected.

His radio show on ParaX is a joke with some of his choice words like frigging and pissed off, would a Priest speak in that manner?I liked his one statement
'there's a lot of charlatans out there'

Indeed there is Bishop Long, indeed there is

Thanks, Dare. And yes, I'd have to agree that we shouldn't be holding our breath waiting for a response. Even if Mr. Long chooses to respond, he's going to need some time to think up some whoppers to try and pass off as truth.

Interesting idea about taking photos. I know that there are several web sites out there (such as scifake.com and whofortedblog.com) that are "into" exposing frauds within the paranormal community.

It's a tricky situation, though, as I believe it's important to not come across like we're on some sort of personal vendetta against Mr. Long. It's not that at all. For me, I take issue with the fact that he has repeatedly attempted to present himself as something he is not. This is something that reflects poorly not only on the paranormal community, but on the religious community as well. And the fact that people are falling for what he's saying disturbs me more than anything. But I hold strong to the belief that, eventually, this will all come out into the light and Mr. Long will finally be exposed for what he really is. I only hope it is sooner rather than later.
