In case you have not heard yet, Ryan Buell from Paranormal State is now making a feature film called American Ghost Hunter.
Mr. Buell writes:
The Movie. I’m am proud and excited to finally deliver the news that Chad Calek and I are in production for an upcoming feature film. That’s right, a movie. It is about the journeys we face as paranormal investigators, where we come from, and the people affected along the way. We will confront a life-long haunting that has terrorized so many, and hopefully, win the war that we’ve been fighting for so long.
The entire journey is being filmed and soon you will be able to come along with us.
This is something that Chad and I are doing together and that we have complete control over. We believe in it so much that we turned down offers to have it bought and produced by a third party. This is something we decided needed to be done ourselves. It’s a privilege to be doing this with my friend, Chad.
The first teaser trailer is finally here and I’ve posted it below. The official movie site is also live, where you can learn more info about the movie itself, as well as watch web-documentaries that document the entire process.
We’ve been blessed with the support of a loyal and ever-growing fanbase, so we can’t wait to hear what you think. Please spread the word and leave us feedback.
Ladies and gentlemen, I’m honored to officially announce, “American Ghost Hunter.”
Soldier on!
Everyday Paranormal has organized a new investigation event that you can attend. If you have always wanted to go on an investigation, here is a terrific opportunity to investigate Waverly Hills Sanatorium on June 22nd, 2009.
Unfortunately we here at Spectral Review cannot attend due to a conflict in schedule, but we highly encourage anyone who is interested in ghost hunting to attend. You will have a terrific time and Everyday Paranormal will organize the event so you will have a great time.
We have mentioned before when the terrific Everyday Paranormal team has visited and captured interesting stuff at the Institute of Texan Cultures, so when the team’s visit is covered in the mainstream media, we would also like to let you know.
A few more EVPs are heard in this video from KSAT Television.
Really neat stuff.
Check out the Institute of Texan Cultures site for non-paranormal events too.
We wanted to let you know of a new Real Time Spirit Communication (RTSC) radio talk show that started recently.
RTSC Talk Radio is hosted by Steve Hultay from Keyport Paranormal. Mr. Hultay has been researching in the field of RTSC for several years and has spent untold hours hacking radios, testing them and helping others who are interested in RTSC research. For a few years Mr. Hultay has maintained a Yahoo group about RTSC research.
If you are interested in RTSC research we suggest listening to their first few episodes because they cover a lot of the history of RTSC research, hackable radios, RTSC techniques and an episode where they play some of their captured recordings.
The show is live on Sunday nights at 6PM Eastern. You can find it at Shadow Talk Radio or Game Con Radio.
The Buckeye State Paranormal and Haunting Investigators (BSPHI) have posted their results from a recent investigation of the Wood County Historical Center and Museum and the period buildings on the property.
As usual BSPHI has compiled a terrific report with a lot of historical information, maps, photos and captured EVPs. We love how they set up their EVPs where one has the opportunity to listen and then verify what you have heard with what they think they hear.
Enjoy!

We have decided to move to a new format on the Report Card articles we create for the Ghost Hunter episodes.
Jason and Grant have always highlighted that they earn their living as plumbers. But clearly they do not bang on pipes now. How would they have the time? With all the travel, personal appearances and special events, what time is left to install porcelain fixtures?
The most recent episodes that have aired they appear to us to be magicians!!!
So without further delay, onto the Ghost Hunters: Soul Searching Magic Plunger Moments ™

One of our readers (thanks Audrey!) sent in this item and we thought we would pass it along. Italian researchers believe they have unearthed a vampire.
Italian researchers believe they have found the remains of a female “vampire” in Venice, buried with a brick jammed between her jaws to prevent her feeding on victims of a plague which swept the city in the 16th century.
“This is the first time that archaeology has succeeded in reconstructing the ritual of exorcism of a vampire,” Borrini told Reuters by telephone. “This helps … authenticate how the myth of vampires was born.”
Myth? What myth?
The Travel Channel kindly let us know that the next four weeks (actually starting last night), they will be airing new episodes of Most Haunted. The show will air on Friday Nights at 10PM Eastern.
Also they let us know that Ghost Adventures is now filming episodes for their second season. Something tells us that Zak will try some provoking in season two.
The Travel Channel also has posted some photo galleries on where the two shows have visited in recent times. Check out the Most Haunted sites and Ghost Adventures locations.
GSGHS (Garden State Ghost Hunters Society) has captured an interesting thermal video that we think you should view.
We think you should watch it because as an anomaly it appears as a cold spot on the video. A certain duo, who used to be plumbers, always show us thermal video with a hot spot, which never made much sense to us. A hot spot seems to us so much easier to fake, or be confused because it is exactly what a human or animal would leave on the thermal camera.
However a cold spot is much more interesting because it coincides with traditional experiences of people feeling cold spots. It doesn’t eliminate the need to try to debunk it, but in our mind it has a better chance of being paranormal.
Also see the GSGHS write up for the investigation where they captured the video.
