A really good how to guide October 23, 2008 I have to tell you that if you are looking for a book with spooky stories and hair raizing tales, then do not get this book. Troy Taylor is a good author and does a great job with this book; however, it is an instructional manual for the most part. I have mine dog-eared, underlined, written in and I am about to add tabs. You will want to have it handy if you go looking for the things that go bump in the night. A really good book.
a very informative book June 3, 2008 This is a very good book written by one of the most respected investigators in this field. I am a member of a paranormal team in oklahoma. I have read several books on the subject of ghosts, but i consider this one the best. The book is full of good information, definitions of paranormal terms and forms to use on investigations. I would highly recomend it to those interested in learning more on the subject
A must have for any ghost hunter! April 12, 2008 This book is a great tool to have when you are a ghost hunter. It gives you the how to's and the why's in everything. It is a step by step guide for investigating homes, graveyards, etc. It tells you how to analyze photos, EVPs and much more!! I definately recommend this to all you ghost hunters out there!
Great Ideas February 27, 2008 Bought this as a christmas gift for my brother and he loved it. Gives opinions on lots of suggestions to hunt ghosts.
A definitive guide on "Ghost Hunting" by Troy Taylor November 21, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Troy Taylor, founder of the American Ghost Society has created what is considered by many as the definitive textbook for the would be and experienced "ghost hunter" alike. Some of the subjects presented are the history of ghost research, investigative technique, investigative equipment, ghost photography, step-by-step "how to conduct a paranormal investigation" and even sample forms to adapt for your own investigations.
Troy provides a look at many established and discredited theories and provides the reader his own analysis and discussion of each.
Many books have been written as 'Guides to Ghost Hunting' but Troy Taylor's "Ghost Hunter's Guidebook" is one book the serious paranormal researcher should have if he owns no other.
