Product Description
Noah Baker never wanted to betray The Others. But if his military commanders want him to covertly investigate a Lupine scientist—whose extraordinary research on sensory perception in werewolves could be used to develop werewolf-sharp senses in human soldiers—Noah must oblige. Even if it means deceiving the woman he desires the most. Samantha Carstairs is the personal assistant to the Alpha of the Silverback Clan, and as best friend to the Lupine community’s most brilliant scientist, she is privy to its most dangerous secret. Noah knows that Sam will never leak the scientific research…so he must find another way to get it, while keeping Sam close. But someone else is after Sam’s secret. Who is the other spy infiltrating The Others? If their genetic secrets get into the wrong hands, all hell could break loose. Now Noah’s true loyalty is put to the test as he fights to protect The Others—and his beloved Sam—and find the imposter…before it’s too late.

Another great book by Warren November 7, 2008 The author has such a vivid imagination and the ability to draw you into the story. Her stuff is never boring.
Howl at the Moon October 21, 2008 Samantha Carstairs is best friends with the Lupine community's smartest, most brilliant scientist. As well, she works for the Alpha of her pack, the Silverback Clan. Her life is good, and she is happy.
Noah Baker is friends with `The Others', in particular the Silverback Clan. Unfortunately, his personal life and his professional life are about to collide. He does not want to betray his friends, but neither can he let down his commanders.
Samantha and Noah desire each other, even if they fight every step of the way. Can their relationship survive Noah doing his duty and Samantha keeping secrets? Or will they lose each other to these secrets and lies?
Howl at the Moon is a fantastic read with well-drawn characters and relationships. Ms. Warren keeps the readers interest and feelings. She develops relationships not only between Noah and Samantha, but with other characters that makes the reader enjoy every page. This is the first book of Ms. Warren's I have had the pleasure to read but it will definitely not be the last.

A great new tale of the Others October 2, 2008 Howl at the Moon by Christine Warren is a wonderful addition to the series of the Others. The story of Sam and Noah is romantic and wonderful. You also get a brief update on most of the other couples from previous books. Not only is the romance between Noah and Sam a steamy one but the rest of the story is just as captivating. It's an action and romance packed novel sure to keep you coming back for more. I will admit that I would have liked it better if Noah had been an Other. LOL. For some reason I like it when the men are the big bad wolves...not the women. But I loved it either way.
howling good fun September 7, 2008 This book is the one that started me reading Christine Warren. Want a good fun exciting book with romance, treachery, demons, and whatever else thrown in. Well this one is it. Well written I throughly enjoyed it. Read it.
I love Noah! July 12, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The world is adjusting to the unveiling of the Others, the supernatural denizens once believed imaginary. Soldier Noah Bishop has been welcomed into their world, as his sister, Abby, is engaged to the demon Rule. Unfortunately, he now finds himself torn between his loyalty to country and his new friends and sister as he is ordered to infiltrate and secretly obtain information from the Lupines. Meanwhile, his attraction to sexy werewolf Samantha "Sam" Carstairs has his thoughts in total disarray. Will the attraction between them survive Noah's betrayal? And who else is after the secrets of the Lupine community?
Noah was without a doubt my favorite character in the last book, THE DEMON YOU KNOW, and I could hardly wait to dive into his story. Christine Warren didn't disappoint! Noah's story is as hard driving as one would expect from this soldier, loyal to the core. Seeing him torn between two loyalties is heart wrenching but only makes the happily-ever-after that much more enjoyable.
HOWL AT THE MOON can be read as a stand alone, as all of the stories in this series are written to stand alone. However, Noah is first introduced in the prior book and his loyalty to his sister demonstrated in that book helps soften the dilemma he finds himself in with this story. The insight into his character in THE DEMON RULE helps the reader fully appreciate just how troubling it is to him to have to essentially live a lie, as Noah is a man who values honesty.
HOWL AT THE MOON is my favorite to date of the Others series, mainly because of Noah. Christine Warren excels at writing memorable characters the reader can truly care about and Noah is without a doubt a shining example of this. Excellent!
