Product Description
In 1893 Oklahoma Territory, Chloe intends to stay only at short time at her brother Joe's ranch. However, she soon finds herself embroiled in his clumsy matchmaking efforts, while at the same time catching the interest of a nosy ghost named Fire Horse. All Max McKee wants is to buy a few horses, but he gets entangled in Joe's scheme to marry off the lovely and quite wealthy Chloe who happens to be the owner of those horses. When a series of fires has local homesteaders spooked, Chloe and Max must work together to discover who is setting those fires -- and try not to get themselves killed in the process. Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Well-written Historical Romance   September 22, 2008
Although PRAIRIE FIRE is fiction, the author accurately represented the landscape and living conditions of 1890's Lincoln County, Oklahoma. This well-written book is filled with interesting characters and lots of fun plot twists.

5 out of 5 stars A well-written page turner   September 21, 2008
A fun romp through 1890's Oklahoma Territory replete with a sexy cowboy, a feisty heroine, outlaws galore, and a very interesting ghost called "Fire Horse."
