Product Description Have you ever wondered what secrets lurk behind the closed doors of New York City's wealthiest families? They're powerful, they're famous... they're undead. Schuyler Van Alen's blood legacy has just been called into question--is the young vampire in fact a Blue Blood, or is it the sinister Silver Blood that runs through her veins? As controversy swirls, Schuyler is left stranded in the Force household, trapped under the same roof as her cunning nemesis, Mimi Force, and her forbidden crush, Jack Force. When one of the Gates of Hell is breached by Silver Bloods in Rio de Janeiro, however, the Blue Bloods will need Schuyler on their side. The stakes are high; the battle is bloody; and through it all, Carnavale rages on. And in the end, one vampire's secret identity will be exposed in a revelation that shocks everyone.

Amazing As The Rest January 6, 2009 It will keep you on the edge of your seat as the third installment of this mystical, but modern vampire lore plays out as Schyler slows finds out more of the events around her when romance is not blinding her path. Big things happen people, you HAVE to read this.
could have been better January 6, 2009 SPOLERS I thought that the third book in the blue bloods seris was quite good with the return of my favorite character Dylan, and it also had some really good twists (i mean who would have EVER guessed that). but it was quite short and it left you with more questions then it answered. I did like how Schuyler relized her love for oliver at the end (i've been waiting for that forever) because i know most people don't but i actually like Mimi and Jack together, i don't really exactly know why that is.
Surprisingly addictive January 5, 2009 Life has been busy for the Blue Bloods: Schuyler Van Allen has been condemned to live in the Force household where she is highly unwelcome, and even accused of being a Silver Blood. Mimi Force is planning her "wedding" to Jack, her true love and Schuyler's secret crush. Bliss has been struggling to find a solution to keep Dylan at her side, despite his erratic and threatening behavior. And in the midst of it all, something is happening in Rio de Janeiro: sinister powers are restless, and the Blue Bloods fear the worst. But even the most powerful among them are surprised at just how costly the battle between with the Silver Bloods is, and just how many of their own are among them...
Revelations, the third book in Melissa de la Cruz's Blue Bloods series, is enticing and shocking. Covered up secrets and many characters' quests for unanswered questions propel the otherwise slow moving plot. Revelations is mainly comprised of drama caused by the Mimi-Jack-Schuyler-Oliver love quadrangle, and Bliss's past, but the "revelations" towards the end speed the slow story up and make it all worth the reading. De la Cruz's closing is surprising, exciting, and maybe just a bit frustrating in the sense that it will leave readers chomping at the bit for more. Nonetheless, many will be able to overlook the uneven storytelling and the fact that all it consists of is the characters struggling to make decisions in light of the new plot twists and drama, and if anything, Revelations will only cause the Blue Bloods series to gain popularity and eagerly anticipate the fourth novel, The Van Allen Legacy.
Great continuation of the series. January 3, 2009 I'm a big fan of the Blue Blood's series. It's been one of my favorite vampire series since they first came out. Revelations has to be my favorite book out of the three.
In Revelations, things really start to get interesting. People are thinking Schuyler is a Silver Blood, and things with Ollie and Jack are really confusing to Schuyler. Mimi is as mean as ever. And Bliss just doesn't know what to do about Dylan.
There are a bunch of new plot twists in Revelations. I know, I know! It doesn't seem possible to have any more plot twists in this series. Oh, but there is. There are plenty to last in Revelations. It will leave you guessing.
You get to learn the characters even more, and I loved that. The new insight on them is amazing.
I'm looking forward to the next book in the series!
Shallow, but still good December 30, 2008 As seems to be the trend with this series, Revelations is a tad shallow. I would love for a little more time to be devoted to character development and exploration as well as to plot development. There are so many great ideas here; I think they could be expanded upon a bit. With that said, it's still a great book that is definitely worth reading.
