From Dead to Worse January 8, 2009 I love this series, but this was my least favorite so far. I am holding out for the new one..
Who's Dead January 8, 2009 FROM DEAD TO WORSE is my first Sookie Stackhouse paranormal mystery, but it won't be my last. What fun! A great read, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Nash Black, HaintsWriting as a Small Business

As with the previous seven Sookie Stackhouse novels, this is also a "page-turner". Once I start, I literally can't put it down. Things are heating up between Sookie and Eric, and I do wish they would get together again. Maybe the new book due out in May will fulfill my wishes in this regard. As for Bill, it's easy to feel sorry for him (and for Quinn, too), but I think in the end, Eric and Sookie are the true soul mates, even if Eric won't admit it. Try it, you'll like it. But start at the beginning with "Dead Until Dark."
Juicy, juicy, juicy!!! January 6, 2009 0 out of 1 found this review helpful

Great read January 6, 2009 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
From Dead to Worse was a great read just like the rest of Harris' works. I really enjoy the Southern Vampire series. This book didn't really have one giant central problems but rather a series of smaller problems which I kind of enjoyed. I think after 7 amazing books a lot of people were disappointed by the fact that there wasn't a huge climactic problem but Miss Stackhouse can only have so many problems in such a short time. I still thoroughly enjoyed it and kind of saw it as a "bridge" book in the series, there will be something big waiting in book 9!
