Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
This book is the first in a series recounting true ghost stories from the Pacific Northwest. The stories in this book are taken from a variety of sources, including newspaper stories, historic accounts and first hand experiences from people who have had paranormal encounters. Including Jeff's experiences in the Vancouver Barracks, in Vancouver, Washington.

Most of the stories in this book are new or have been updated, if the haunting is an old one. Many of the places described in this book are public places, like bars, restaurants, hotels or public buildings. Most of them can be visited by readers for their own experiences.

This book is divided into geograpic regions in Washington and Oregon, including the Puget Sound, the Coast, and east and west of the Cascade Mountains. In addition to ghost stories, there are several stories about "Strange Critters" like the Bigfoot and other mysterious animals that have been seen in the Pacific Northwest.

At the end of the book is a section on ghost hunting where the author describes many natural phenomenon that can be mistaken for ghosts, as well as some of the latest techniques in ghost hunting, such as ghost photography and remote recordings.

There are several photographs of haunted locations as well as an index at the end of the book.

3 out of 5 stars Some interesting content, but . . . .   September 8, 2001

There is some interesting information in this book. However, the amount of typos and grammatical errors are a serious distraction.
