Product Description On the Virginia plantation Poplar Ridge, seven-year-old Sarah witnesses the murder of her father Geoff Cameron. Sarah refuses to speak, and drawings of her father's death become her only means of communication--until she reveals that Geoff continues to read her stories. Are the ghostly whispers a figment of a bereaved little girl's imagination, or can Sarah really speak to the dead? The search for answers leads Sarah's mother, Chris, on a whirlwind journey through time. In the age of Reconstruction, Chris must unravel the web that binds Geoff's murder to the violent demise of his ancestor George Cameron. She leaves a diary for Geoff, hoping to break the chain of tragic events, only to find that Sarah holds the link between the worlds of the living and the dead.

Whispers Through Time September 15, 2008 In this sequel to Whispers from the Grave, we return to the plantation of Poplar Ridge. Ten years have passed and Chris and her husband Geoff Cameron now have a daughter named Sarah.
The ghost of Margaret from the Civil War era is still around and she possesses Geoff's former wife who shoots him. Geoff is able to contact Chris through Sarah and tells her she must wear a certain necklace and go back in time. Chris can't find a way to do it until there's a car accident. Later Sarah contacts her in her dreams. Chris finds herself in post Civil War Virginia and must face Margaret to save her husband.
If you enjoy mystery and romance with the paranormal added to the mix, you may find this book as entertaining as I did.
A compelling novel of speaking with the dead August 8, 2008 Seeing the murder of one's own father is a nightmarish thing. "Whispers Through Time" follows Sarah Cameron as she witnesses the horrific act, and deals with the terrible reality by refusing to speak. A compelling novel of speaking with the dead, ghosts, and the past's force on the present, "Whispers Through Time" is a gripping thriller, sure to please fans of the genre.
