Product Description The compact, lightweight Sony AC-E30A 110/220 Volt AC Power Adapter provides steady, reliable power for virtually any electronic device requiring 3 Volts DC
Amazon.com Product Description The Sony AC-E30A is an appropriate AC adaptor for home or while traveling abroad. The slim profile makes it a nice accessory to pack away in a small bag or backpack. Sony has made this adaptor about one-third the weight of previous models, which will make the backpack tourists very happy. With the foldable AC plug blade, the adaptor becomes a straight-lined package, further enhancing its convenient storage capability. The adaptor is worldwide voltage capable. The low waiting-power consumption is a nice energy saving feature, while the large current capacity is a plus for its wide range of uses. With the 6.5 foot cord, reaching those ill-spaced outlets is made a bit easier. The AC-E30A has a rated output of 3V DC and a rated input of 100-240V AC. What's in the Box Sony AC-E30A power adaptor and data sheet.

EMI both Radiated and Conducted January 6, 2009 This switching supply generates radiated and conducted interference. I can't recommend it for powering a radio, or operating it in the vacinity of a radio. When current draw is very low, it produces 120 Hz noise also. A better design one would expect from Sony.
Awesome Product December 21, 2008 Just the product I wanted. I spent a lot of money on batteries for my everyday recording. Everything is good about this product and it works as explained.
It's just what I needed March 2, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have 6 Sony MX-20 digital recorders and I got tired of replacing AAA batteries so I purchased 3 of these AC adapters and they work just fine. The cord is extra long so it is very convenient to use.
Buyer Beware: No Power Adaptor January 13, 2008 1 out of 6 found this review helpful
The sound is okay, but I don't recommend this item for one simple reason: no power cord. It doesn't state (at least in the description above) that there's no power cord included with this unit. That costs extra time and hassle. There are a lot of units out there that do come with a power adaptor: buy one of those instead.
Excellent AC Power Adaptor September 15, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I am very happy when using this Adapter. I am using it for my Sony ICD-MX20DR9 because it saves my batteries when synchronizing with my pc or when using it in home. This Adapter is not including my ICD-MX20DR9 box. It's folding plug blade save place sceptically when moving some where. I recommend this for all Sony products that needs 3V in.
