4 out of 5 stars Scary   November 25, 2008
Great movie to watch on a cold and rainy night. The special affects were great and the story line was good. It is certainly worth the money to watch. Don't forget the popcorn for this one!

5 out of 5 stars Love this Movie!   July 23, 2008

Finally got to see this cool movie on DVD and un-cut by the sci-fi channel. This is a little treasure of a film about a ship that sailed into the devil's triangle 25 years ago and suddenly reappears in present day. The ship has not aged since its "vacation" in the zone and strange things begin to happen when a salvage crew arrives to claim the ship. Its kind of a cross between the movies "Ghost Ship" and "Event Horizon" story wise. Love a good ghost ship movie!

5 out of 5 stars a voyage worth watching   December 21, 2007

Lost Voyage is a spectacular horror movie about a bunch of people who finally find an old ghost ship after disappearing in the Bermuda Triangle for more than 30 years.

The horror segments were truly exciting. One scene showed a ghost angel floating down from the skies and diving right through an old man standing on the top floor of the ship. You see, the whole idea of the storyline came from the mystery of what lies beyond the Bermuda Triangle from as far back as World War II when airplanes disappeared completely, and no trace of them has ever been recovered. Lost Voyage takes that storyline and makes it about a ship that disappears and when it finally returns, it's old, stinky, creepy, and haunted.

The story eventually turned into the people finding out what they wanted on the ship wasn't worth the trouble after all, because a mysterious cloud cover was quickly heading their way from way off in the distance, so they had to get out of there before the ghosts aboard killed each person one by one.

I really was creeped out by the rocking horse moving by itself, the water turning on and frying a guy working on electrical wires and whatnot, and the guy who was taking down his camera set-up and looked in one of the televisions and saw a woman who was apparently right behind the man, but when he turned around she wasn't there. I really liked these freaky segments the most.

4 out of 5 stars A horrible little movie   July 29, 2007

Trust me, this is a horrible little movie. I can't stand gore, and I don't know why I watched this movie, alone at nearly midnight when everyone else in the house had gone to sleep. However, I did watch it, and that's the reason I have to rate this movie a four.

Creepy and spooky, Lost Voyage carried me along in the wake of suspense. There isn't a lot of plot, nor terror, but the nail-biting suspense is genuine and complete, with a dash of romance to round out the offering.

I watched even though I didn't want to watch, not because I had to watch for any particular reason. I just couldn't bring myself to stop watching. I flipped away numerous times, whenever I was sure something bad was going to happen, but then I wasn't able to stand the suspense, so I flipped back... again, and then again. Before long, I just gave up and devoted my attention to the movie.

I watched it, and when it came on again, this time during the daytime, thank goodness, I ended up watching again!

5 out of 5 stars This movie will keep you watching.   April 18, 2007

I saw this movie on the Sci-Fi channel years ago and loved it. I couldn't stop watching it and everytime I saw it listed, I would watch it again. Finally I bought my own copy on Amazon.com. The characters are all on an old lost ship in the ocean. The atmosphere is spooky and you never know when a ghost is going to pop out! Very suspenseful.
