Product Description The sleek, compact adventure 8-24x25 Eagleview Zoom binocular was designed to become a favored companion of knowledgeable travelers - whether they're heading to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the beaches of the French Riviera or the wilds of the Peruvian Amazon. The 8-24x25 Eagleview Zoom model includes new ergonomic styling to allow a better, more comfortable grip on the dual-hinge polycarbonate body. And with a choice of the original silver and gray or new black on black color scheme, the Eagleview Zoom will be the perfect companion for a day in the woods or a nighttime theater excursion.Nikon has retained all of the user-friendly features that have made the Eagleview one of the most popular and versatile zoom binoculars on the planet: Turn & slide rubber eyecups allow the user to quickly achieve the eye relief necessary for optimum viewing, with or without eyeglasses. An exclusive, centrally located zoom control lever that enables the user to select any magnification from 8 power to 24 power with the push of a finger. Bright, sharp Nikon multicoated lenses and high index BaK4 prisms provide true color rendition and crisp, clear viewing.Measuring just 4.7" x 4.3" and weighing only 12.5 ounces, the Eagleview Zoom is sized to fit in a coat pocket, purse or glove box. The binocular provides a 240 foot field of view at 1, 000 yards when set on eight power, and possesses a 4.6 degree field of view at 8x, as well.l.

Awesome October 30, 2008 These things are AWESOME!!! I bought them for my best friend and she loves them. My dad wants a pair of them now. Will be getting him some for Christmas!!! Also, Amazon shipped them extremely fast!!!
Very pleased! October 6, 2008 Bought these for my husband for our anniversary, he is hard to please, very picky, but he was impressed with this purchase. He enjoyed using them at the football game. I like the compact size and the light weight.
Very good product, but not for me September 30, 2008 I purchased these glasses as a possible replacement for a larger pair of Nikon glasses because i hoped they would provide the same view in a smaller, more compact package. Unfortunately, I enjoyed the glasses but not enough improvement to supplant the older larger model. In short, the smaller package didn't provide enough improvement to make the change.
Eagleview 8-24x25 Prism Binoculars by Nikon September 21, 2008 Nice Compact size, focus nob is toward front which results in using middle or ring finger for focusing and index finger for zooming. Takes some getting used to. Eyeglass wearers may find it difficult to use, i.e., finding a good spot where both left & right images come completely together. Image becomes darker as zoom in. Not suitable for use in low light conditions (dawn or dusk) at middle to full zoom. I predominantly use them to spot arrows when shooting target archery. It's light weight, size and limited view field are ideally suited for this purpose.
Eagle View Zoom June 28, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I purchased this for my husband for his birthday. I saw all the great reviews and thought this was the one for him! There are two things that bother us. #1 - the zoom button got stuck in the 24 position. Neither one of us could get this moved to another spot. Finally my husband used a quarter to move the button. It was the second time he used it! We are not sure how to fix this if this happens again. Secondly, the strap is missing one piece of small plastic and it means we can not use it. This is very disappointing also. Everything should come ready to use and be able to use it well. Not sure I would do this again.
