5 out of 5 stars New Moon   December 2, 2008
0 out of 1 found this review helpful

The entire Twilight Series is absolutely addictive. I am 36 years old. I purchased the first book on a business trip in South Africa. I finished the book in two nights of reading. I went to three book stores in SA to find New Moon so I could read it on my long flight home. All the stores were sold out. I logged on to Amazon and ordered the remaining three books to be shipped overnight so that they were on my doorstep waiting for me.

I fear the day I finish the books and that sad feeling of nothing left of the story to read. I certainly hope that Stephanie is working on book 5.

2 out of 5 stars EEhhh   December 2, 2008
I was very disappointed with the majority of this series which doesnt get interesting until the 4th book so if ou just want the backstory then trudge through this snorefest.

5 out of 5 stars good   December 2, 2008
it was a very good book. Came in good condition. would recommend it to family.

3 out of 5 stars A good addition to the series however.............   December 2, 2008
Edward fans may be a little disappointed with his absence for a good portion of the book. Still it establishes the bond between Bella and Jacob so it is a good addition to the series and worth reading.

2 out of 5 stars Hope Eclipse is better...   December 2, 2008
I'm a sucker for the first book. I read it in a day. The love story is so deliciously impossible. I'm starting to think I was reading the book for Edward, because when I got into New Moon, I got bored.
Edward disappeared. Until the very end. I got through the novel so fast because I skipped ahead, hoping he would come back. He graced the pages again and the book ended.
I hope he stays put in Eclipse. And Bella puts a sock in that hole in her chest.

Anne Rice made better vampires. I wish she would still write about them.
